The adidas Forum has made a splash so far in 2021, revived by the Three Stripes for a faithful run of retro releases. Now, the originals team is building on the classic with new iterations, debuting as a part of the “I Love Dance” capsule collection.
adidas Originals’ new dance-inspired collection of Forum sneakers surfaced earlier this week, showing off several new variations of the classic basketball shoe that the brand will be rolling out this year. Specifically styled to reflect the traditions of breakdancing and hip-hop in Shanghai, the capsule collection delivers bright, eye-catching colorways of the standard Forum Low, as well as debuting the new Forum Plus and Forum Bold. The Forum Plus builds on the shoe’s existing form, adding new mid-layers and outlines to various pieces of the silhouette, to create a more layered and detailed sneaker. The Forum Bold moves the shoe in the opposite direction, replacing the shoe’s base layer with mesh and removing excess layers in favor of bold branding and an emphasized sole unit.

adidas Originals’ upcoming collection of low-top Forum sneakers celebrating dance have been scheduled to release later this month, on February 28th, 2021. Arriving in three options, the Forum Low, Bold, and Plus, each one sports a unique color scheme and comes with a price tag of either $110 or $130.
