The Air Jordan 1 KO returned this year, bringing the canvas edition of the icon back into the fray. This week, we have our first look at a new ‘True Blue’ pair that arrives in late September.
The Air Jordan 1 KO originally released alongside the OG pairs in 1986. Designed as an early ‘takedown’ model, the shoe featured a simplified canvas construction, making them more affordable than the all-leather AJ1 High. The model has rarely been seen on shelves since then, until this year when the Swoosh revived the model as well as introducing a low-top version for the first time. This week, a new colorway of the AJ1 KO High has emerged, and is expected to release later this Fall. The ‘True Blue’ style features a blue canvas construction paired with Topaz Gold for the toes, leather collars, and Swooshes.
