Alongside a handful of upcoming releases of the Jordan Air Ship, Awake NY will also be adding their mark on the classic model.
With a handful of both collaborative and inline releases scheduled for the year’s second half, the Jordan Air Ship is definitely making a huge comeback this year. Originally debuted all the way back in 1984 and is recognized as the first basketball shoe Michael Jordan wore in the NBA. Now in 2023, as retro releases are making a considerable comeback, of course, the name of the Air Ship has been called by the design team at Jordan Brand.
This offering is slated for a white/sail leather design that’s detailed with mismatched red and royal blue detailing across the ankles. The two colors are also used on the respected sneaker, flowing from the ankles to the Swoosh logos where both outline the silver chrome logos across the sides. For the collaboration, Awake NY’s “A” logo is featured on the vamp while an aged rubber midsole and gum outsole are added below to complete the design.
