Reebok and Brain Dead have built a strong collaborative partnership in recent years, lining up regular sneaker releases. This week, we got our first look at the Brain Dead Shaqnosis, coming soon.
The last we saw from Los Angeles design studio Brain Dead and their partners in footwear at Reebok, they had cooked up two pairs of the Club C with an interesting use a range of materials. Now, the two have reunited, this time taking on the retro Shaqnosis signature basketball shoe for an upcoming release. The same high-texture material preference is used here, applying a wealth of textiles across the shoe’s upper. The pair begins with a light tan suede base layer, adding rich shaggy green suede in the shoe’s signature hypnotic lines/ The tongue and ankle construction features tan and grey mesh, while a black and dark green midsole complete the look. Finally, a mash up of Brain Dead’s head logo and the Shaq dunking logo is added for a final touch.
BRAIN DEAD X REEBOK SHAQNOSIS RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest release from Brain Dead and Reebok, featuring the Shaqnosis basketball shoe, is set to release next week on November 29th from Brain Dead, followed by a wider release from Reebok on December 1st.
