The upcoming collection from DC Comics and Reebok is expected to release in December, and character-inspired styles are starting to pop up regularly. Today, we got an early look at the ‘Superman’ Shaq Attaq, coming soon.
The hierarchy of sneakers in the DC Universe is about to change. This week, we’ve gotten an early look at a number of new styles from Reebok inspired by characters from the vast universe of the DC comics. Recently, we took a look at the Joker’s purple and green Club C, and while we await the inevitable appearance of the Batman himself, the Man of Steel has emerged in the form of the Shaq Attaq retro basketball shoe. Featuring plenty of Superman iconography, the pair begins with a medium grey suede toe cap and heel, with a midfoot section constructed from a textured regal blue textile, which looks very close to the texture of Henry Cavill’s Superman suit. The red heel counters mimic the same look, while golden Reebok Vector logos reach around the sides of the shoes. Dark grey suede takes over the rest of the silhouette, while Superman logos on the shoe’s tongue pumps complete the look.

DC and Reebok’s upcoming collaboration is scheduled to arrive in stores next month, on December 2nd, 2022. Now including the ‘Superman’-inspired Shaq Attaq, pairs will drop via the Reebok website and select retailers for $180.
