Nike continues to add new colorways of their remastered Air Huarache to their arsenal, expanding on the classic runner’s anniversary celebration. Today, we have our first look at a new “Black Neon” style, coming next year.

Nike’s thirtieth-anniversary celebration for the Air Huarache appears to be stretching into 2022, as evidenced by a number of new colorways still on the horizon. Remastered to mimic the original 1991 run of Huaraches as closely as possible, Nike has been pumping out fresh colorways of the vintage runner all year long, with plenty still waiting to be deployed in the new year. Amongst these upcoming releases is the fresh “Black Neon” color scheme we are taking a closer look at today, which begins by casting the entire forefoot, and most of the midfoot, in an inky shade of black. The shoe’s neoprene sections come in a silvery grey tone, matched by the shoe’s heel counter, while neon green branding on the tongues and a swoosh hangtag completes the look.
