Nike already has an impressive lineup of sneaker release set to coincide with this year’s Olympic Games in Paris. This week, the Air Max 1 has joined the arsenal, dressed in a Team USA color scheme.

Olympic-themed sneakers are a staple of Nike’s Summer release calendar every four years, as the USA’s official supplier of uniforms and gear. The brand also releases a large range of silhouettes and colors to the public, mostly themed around a red, white, and blue color scheme often accented with gold. For 2024, we’ve already seen a lot of releases coming throughout the next few months, like the Jordan 6 “Olympic”, an SB Dunk Low, and many more. This week, the Air Max 1 has joined the release calendar, cast in a simple color scheme. The pair features a white mesh base with grey suede midfoot panels, a dark navy blue mudguard, and metallic gold Swooshes. Red accents adorn the Nike branding and plastic eyelets to complete the look.
