Nike is prepping the Air Max Plus for Summer beach days, debuting a special-edition pair of the iconic silhouette with a sunset gradient color scheme and pre-sandied soles for a wild new look.

The Nike Air Max Plus has a wide range of iconic sun-themed colorways. In fact, the silhouette’s first colorways that launched in 1998 were inspired by sunrise and sunsets on Florida beaches, featuring beautiful gradient colors across the upper. Now, Nike is upping their game with a new “Beach” pair of the retro runner, complete with sandy soles. The look features sunset-like colors across the upper, starting with light blue and fading to green, yellow, orange, and red from top to bottom. The shoe’s mudguard comes in shaggy suede to mimic the texture of sand, while the soles have bene completely covered in a sand-like texture, obscuring the Air bags underfoot. The final look appears as if you’ve been walking in wet sand in sneakers for an afternoon.
