Originally released as a basketball sneaker in the early ’70s, the Nike Blazer Mid’s role has changed in 2019. As no one is looking to wear the mid-top silhouette on the court nowadays, it still has found a role in the hottest of street-wear styles. Now as it has drawn away from a performance-based shoe, it has been given the time to take on themes, fresh colorways and even collaborations with today’s top brands.
This edition is as classic as they come. The upper consists of a flawless suede upper that brings in shades of black and grey. White then flows on the model, as a white leather Nike Swoosh can be found on the sides as well as a white tongue, laces, and midsole. Taking us back to a classic look, the silhouette shows fans, where it originated from and at the same time, looks great while doing it.
