Nike’s Terminator is making a full comeback this year, with a number of colorways already expected to release throughout 2023. This week, the ‘Liberté’ low-top edition joins the line-up.

Nike’s 1980s Terminator silhouette has always taken a back seat to the Air Jordan 1, a similar looking model that completely took over the world of sneakers despite releasing in similar years. Now, Nike is reviving the retro basketball model, releasing plenty of new colorways just a few years ahead of the shoe’s 40th anniversary. This week, a new ‘Liberté’ colorway of the Terminator Low has surfaced, showing off a premium rendition of the shoe. The pair begins with crisp white leather for the quarter panels, paired with an off-white suede toe box. Mudguard come in a pale grey suede, matching the eyestays, while an ivory white heel counter provides balance. Dark brown knit textile makes up the tongue, while a grey Swoosh with a 3M outline completes the main body. Finally, the oversized Nike branding on the heels has been reduced to a simple tonal outline.
