The Air Jordan 1 High Retro is Jordan Brand’s cornerstone ‘lifestyle’ model, a basketball shoe whose design has so thoroughly permeated fashion that we accept it as an outfit anchor. With a wider range of colorways than pretty much every other JB model, the AJ1 is something like JB’s Dunk or Air Force 1. Here are two new styles for August 2010 that go in completely opposite directions, but with equally satisfying ends. The tonal brown joints with burgundy and lime green hits are a lesson in color theory that feature a cool new scored suede on the underlay, while the tonal grey joints feature quite a bit of nubuck, both perfed and smooth. Check out closeups of both pairs after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on two of the hottest AJ1 High Retros to release in a long while. via CT
