While there isn’t a Barkleyism that’s the true antithesis of ‘Turrible’, these new kicks certainly represent the complete opposite of bad. An all-purple Charles Barkley retro has been a long time coming, and with contemporary fashions skewing toward the simplest of self-expressions, it’s fitting to see the Nike Air Max CB 94 release in a combination of Varsity Purple and the new Ink shade of violet. These could just as easily pass as a Decepticons AM CB 34, but with that inspiration already used, we get to enjoy these in all their regal glory.
