Jason Negron’s last custom project involved a ‘simple’ swap of the outsoles of his two Foamposite shoes. For his next endeavor, he dove in brush in hand on a pair of Air Griffey Max 1s to create his own personal take on the OG colorway of Ken Griffey Jr’s first signature shoe. In what could be called a ‘reverse’ of the soon-to-release Freshwater colorway, Jason applied the vibrant teal pigment on the primary upper panels, using black as an offsetting color on the upper and midsole. White laces match the ’24’ on the strap, swoosh (forefoot and heel), ‘NIKE’ insignia on the medial side of the strap, and on the ‘eyelids’ located above the visible Air windows on the midsole. Do you like these better than the OG colorway? Check out Jason Negron’s completed work after the jump and hit up his Facebook Page or through Packer Shoes to get in touch.
