Nike Air Max International Spring 2012

It’s rare enough these days to see an Air Jordan with Nike branding, but a shoe with both a Swoosh and a Formstripe?!  Surely a Nike x Puma collaboration would have to be even less likely than a return to OG AJ form, but we wouldn’t blame you if you saw that in the new Nike Air Max International.  This new model’s sweeping side panels feature a similar curved quilting as many of the German cat’s top designs, though it’s worth noting that this hasn’t always been the case.  To clarify, the Air Max International was previously a early/mid-’90s-leaning retro-style runner from Nike Sport Culture, but the Air Max Triax ’94-style cushion hasn’t been seen in several years so presumably that older design will either be expunged from the Nike Sportswear catalog or perhaps renamed.  While the fate of the OG INTLs remains a mystery, this new design is slated to debut next spring, and you can see more images of the four initial colorways when you click the jump below.  via CK
