Spike Lee seems to leave a profound mark in whatever realm he steps foot on. Already considered to be one of the iconic film directors of our generation and noted sneakerheads of the sub-culture, Spike Lee’s interests have crossed over from time to time – most notably in the 1989 film ‘Do The Right Thing’. Nikes and Air Jordans are easily spotted throughout the entire movie, which is a rather accurate depiction of the popularity of sneakers in the inner city; kicks like the Air Jordan IV, Nike Air Trainer III, and Nike Air Force II are just some of what can be seen during many of the memorable scenes.
