Our first glimpse of what was to come back in July suggested all-leather builds, but we’ve come to know the Nike Air Solstice better in a combination of suede and ripstop nylon. This classic pairing coupled with pre-yellowed detailing on the midsole gives the Solstice a classic vibe despite the fact it debuted this year as the latest in a niche of Nike Sportswear faux-retro styles. This pair has an almost grey/navy look to it against a solid black background, but referencing the official colors and looking a bit closer, it’s clear we’re actually dealing with a couple earthy shades of green-brown and black suede on the branding elements.
