Nike LeBron 12 – Unreleased Prototype

Nike LeBron 12 – Unreleased Prototype

Nike Lebron 12 Prototype Black Metallic Gold

LeBron’s hiatus from the Nike LeBron 11 was fairly scrutinized throughout the sneaker community last year. How was signature athlete not wearing his signature sneaker? Unfortunately the fit just wasn’t there and LeBron had to resort to wearing his Zoom Soldier line for basically the entirety of last season. Knowing that, Nike made sure to get things right this time around with the Nike LeBron 12. As with any shoe as big as King James’ next signature, a plethora of samples and prototypes were made and today we get a look at one that’s rather far away from the finished product we see on store shelves. The mesh finish is there, as are the hexagonal air units throughout the sole, but the support system on the side features ventilated patches while the Swoosh is delegated to the forefoot. Would you wear this sneaker had it been the finalized version? While the photos are a few months old, it’s worth a look to compare to all his PEs he’s championing on court these days.
