New England-based Concepts has a lot going on this weekend, but the star of their planned activities is no doubt the release of their latest New Balance collaborations. Title the “Rosé”, this high-class 997 composition features a tonal rosé pink upper with reflective silver accents, but true NB fans will recognize that Concepts actually removed the hardened piece on the upper lacelock and replaced it with a suede panel (nice touch). The shoes release tomorrow at three locations – their brick & mortar store in Cambridge, their webstore, and their brand new NYC location that will serve as a weekly pop-up concept store (taking their namesake literally). Every Saturday, the new NYC location aims to open up for special collaborative releases, so stay tuned to see what else will be hitting that new TriBeCa based outpost. More detailed photos of the shoes and last night’s opening reception party, so take a look and let us know if these are the best Concepts collabs yet.
