The Next adidas Boost Release Is Made Of Plastic Waste Found In Oceans

The Next adidas Boost Release Is Made Of Plastic Waste Found In Oceans

Adidas Recycled Plastic Release 1

Straight trash. No, in a good way. adidas Running is back with one of the most original concept shoes we’ve seen in quite some time thanks to teaming up with Parley for the Oceans, an organization that raises awareness about the current horrendous state of oceans at the hands of pollution. Utilizing what looks like a full length BOOST cushioning system on the outsole, the three stripes repurposes plastic found in the ocean into a flexible knit upper for a look as interesting as it is environmentally conscious. While not yet ready for a retail release, Parley and adidas set out to show raise awareness about the careless mindset in regards to ocean trash regulation while also showcasing a practical use for the material once it is taken out of the ocean. Would you wear a pair though? Let us know in the comments.
