The Nike Zoom Field General is back with an entirely new construction for 2015. Once a training line throughout the 90s for Nike, after the Swoosh locked up a deal for the NFL’s merchandising they decided it was the perfect time to bring the namesake back. Nike previewed the latest Field General in a feature on the evolution of Zoom Air. While the only photos we have are transparent to show the cushioning unit, the upper could be constructed of anything ranging from the JCRD mesh tooling to Nike’s new Flyweave technology. Stay tuned for more of Nike’s latest football oriented training model in the near future and in the meantime, check out the use of Zoom Air in the turf trainer below.
