Raekwon Teams Up With Packer Shoes and Diadora To Celebrate the “Purple Tape”

Twenty years later and still one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, Packer Shoes and Diadora team up with Raekwon to celebrate Only Built 4 Cuban Linx with a very special edition of the N.9000. The Italian brand’s classic runner is draped in all purple, referencing the original purple cassette edition of the groundbreaking album. The shoe features an all-purple-everything upper, constructed in premium suede and mesh with clear plastic Diadora logos referencing the legendary tape and a translucent purple outsole to match. “Side 1” and “Side 2” of the cassette are labeled on each heel of the shoe, while the parental advisory style tongue logos further call back to the tape. Track lists for each side of the tape are listed on the insoles to complete the incredible execution. The Raekwon x Packer Shoes x Didadora “Purple Tape” drops August 20th exclusively at S.O.B.’s in New York City in conjunction with a special show by Raekwon.
