Jordan Brand Shows Us What Could Have Been With Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate”

Jordan Brand Shows Us What Could Have Been With Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate”

Air Jordan 5 Low Retro Alternate 06

Jordan Brand‘s “Alternate Collection” has showed us a number of awesome Chicago-centric colorways that just never left the sample shelf in a bit of revisionist’s history. The Air Jordan 4 featured a clean white tumbled leather base and bright red accents throughout. Now it’s the Air Jordan 5 Low‘s turn. It isn’t the first time that an Air Jordan 5 will nod at an unreleased sample as last year’s Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” did the same. The combination of black and red on the Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate” is a familiar aesthetic, but is accomplished in a new way thanks to a translucent red outsole and matching lining. The traditional 3M cement grey tongue returns to match the black base. Check out more photos below and pick up your pair tomorrow, January 30th for $175.
