Jordan Brand is taking the upcoming Rio Olympic games seriously with a number of awesome special edition releases planned throughout the summer to spark your patriotism or at least bring a wave of nostalgia for the 24th anniversary of the historic Dream Team. The latest is this Air Jordan 5 “Gold Tongue” which features a Gold Medal reference throughout in the form of a luxurious patent leather gold tongue instead of the traditional reflective 3M material. The simple yet effective Air Jordan 5 colorway will arrive at retailers on August 13th for $190 USD and utilizes a simple white tumbled leather and a contrasting black midsole and lining while the OG icy blue outsole works well with touches of Metallic Gold Coin on the shark teeth pattern.
