The Nike Air Python Returns In Copper Snake

Nike Air Python Copper Snake 01

It’s always fun to see what trends didn’t quite stick from a few years back. While synthetic snakeskin graphics and patterns were one of the major trends a couple of years ago before the current wave of simplified woven uppers, the Nike Air Python was doing it decades earlier.

Created in 1987, the Nike Python lifestyle classic utilized an aesthetic somewhere in between the Air Jordan 2 and the Nike Dunk, adding snakeskin to the fold for a luxurious head-turning look. Nike Sportswear emboldened the model with a number of modern updates ranging from an Iridescent colorway to a timely monochromatic all red. Today we get a look at a new “Copper Snake” option that adds a realistic anaconda inspired graphic to the fold.

The fierce look features aggressive alternating speckles of black and metallic copper imitating an anaconda’s skin to near perfection. What do you think of the Nike Python’s return? Check out more detailed photos below and we’ll keep you updated on a release date right here on Sneaker News.
