Although the Nike Air More Uptempo has forever been associated with Scottie Pippen since he wore them on court during the 1995-96 NBA season, the shoe is not officially his signature model. His first signature design would follow a year later with the Air Pippen 1, which debuted the “PIP” logo on the heels. All these years later, Nike Sportswear has chosen to basically combine the two models, with this new edition of the Air More Uptempo in a Chicago Bulls white, black, and red color scheme with Scottie’s logo added to the heels—virtually making the Air More Uptempo the signature shoe he never had back in ’96.
