Ben Felderstein Last year, Kyrie Irving paid his respects to the Black Mamba by teaming up with Nike to produce a Kyrie 3 colorway based off the iconic Kobe 5 “Bruce Lee”. Dubbed the Kyrie 3 “Mamba Mentality”, it featured a custom “Kyrobe” logo that fused the two superstars signature insignias together on the tongue. Today, Irving took to Instagram to show the world how he’s celebrating #MambaDay with a reverse colorway of the fan-favorite Kyrie 3. Adorned in red suede this time around, it ushers in yellow slash marks in homage to Bruce Lee with the addition of yellow speckling on the gradient midsole. Do not expect pairs of this Kobe-inspired selection to arrive at retailers, but you should show us what you’re rocking with this Mamba Day.
