Serena Williams Gets Special Nike Blazer Release For The French Open

Serena Williams Gets Special Nike Blazer Release For The French Open

Serena Williams is set to return to Grand Slam tennis action at the French Open for the first time since winning the Australian Open last year while pregnant. To celebrate the return of one of the greatest tennis players of all time – male or female – Nike has created a special SW-branded version of the classic Nike Blazer Mid silhouette. Sporting a monochromatic look, its laces and tongue come adorned in that aforementioned bold branding while its premium leather upper ushers in textured accents for a hint of luxury. Dressed in black and white and dubbed the “Open Book”, the simplistic, yet sophisticated color scheme is meant to serve as a nod to one of the most dominant athletes in history’s ability to re-write the history books and redefine what it means to be at the top of sport. Enjoy an official set of images of the Blazer Mid SW below and look forward to its release on May 24th as well as Serena and the rest of the world’s top tennis stars as they look to fight for the top spot at Roland-Gerros.
