Cristiano Ronaldo And Nike Release The Nike FC CR7

Although the Portugal team he lead may have fallen short of their ultimate goal at the 2018 World Cup, it’s still a good time to be Cristiano Ronaldo. Arguably the world’s best soccer player, the high-scoring forward is also so popular that within 24 hours of offically becoming the newest member of legendary Italian soccer club Juventus, his new black and white #7 jersey had sold 520,000 units. New contract, new club, half a million rabid fans. What could make life any better? A new Nike signature shoe, of course.

Nike and Ronaldo are set to release the new FC CR7, a training silhouette that feature’s Nike’s React technology—the same material that’s used in popular shoes like the React Element 87—and a regal black and gold color scheme. The shoe’s upper is composed of a stark black, with gold dragon detailing circling around the bottom half of the upper and the toebox. Gold CR7 branding arrives on the knitted tongue, and a gold “Designed By CR7” hit appears on the black suede heel patch. The aforementioned React midsole provides cushioning, and the shoe is completed by a translucent outsole that features further gold underlays like a large CR7 hit and more dragon detailing. The new training shoes are available now in Asia, and will be coming to Nike.com soon. Enjoy a full set of images below while you wait, and let us know what you think of Ronaldo’s new kicks (and club) too.
