Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” – Release Reminder

Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” – Release Reminder

Every so often a hotly anticipated sneaker release takes on a life of its own due to either its connection with a celebrity, the story behind the design, or a rumor started on the internet. For tomorrow’s Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” release, all of that chaos came rolled into one. Initially, this sneaker was slated to be a collaboration with Drake, but then Drizzy’s heavily rumored transition to the Three Stripes put an end to that potential link-up. Not too long after that, the Swoosh revealed an official set of images with the OVO rapper’s signature on the tongue, leading to another bevy of questions surrounding whether or not the pair was co-signed by Mr. In My Feelings himself. Now, with a second – and final – set of branded images having surfaced without Drake’s John Hancock, those rumors and grumblings can finally be put to bed, and the release can go down tomorrow devoid of any confusion – other than the actual inspiration behind this Raptors-friendly color scheme of course. While tomorrow’s 4s will not be joining Jordan Brand’s OVO lineup, Drake’s “checks over stripes” mantra will likely lead to more collaborative efforts from the successful pairing down the road.

While we’re sure most of you have got your ducks in a row for tomorrow’s drop, if you are a procrastinator, be sure to check out our store list for these Jordan 4s below and be sure to do your due diligence if you want to avoid paying resale prices.
