Maria Sharapova’s Nike La Cortez For NYFW/US Releases Soon

Maria Sharapova’s Nike La Cortez For NYFW/US Releases Soon

Inspired by Autumn in New York City, Maria Sharapova‘s entrant into the NYFW/US Open sneaker craze is certainly an attention-grabber. Furthering her partnership with Nike, the globally popular Russian tennis star is set to release a second iteration of the La Cortez that boasts elegant earth tones throughout its upper as well as her signature lollipop logo emblazoned onto the left heel. Currently ranked number 21 in the WTA rankings, Maria has the star power and the tennis prowess to do what it takes to get back on top of the women’s tennis world both on the court and off. Dressed primarily in a shimmering metallic bronze, a quick hit of clay red gets added to its midsole and its luxe leather tongue tag to further its organic aesthetic.

Enjoy an official look at Sharapova’s second take on the feminine La Cortez below and look forward to its arrival on the Nike SNKRS app on August 23rd. While you wait, be sure to check out what else the Swoosh Brand has planned for the US Open and New York Fashion Week here.
