Nike’s Vapormax 2 has been taking an extended trip through the jungle as of late, with the recent releases of tiger, leopard, and alligator-printed colorways letting the high-tech shoe take a walk on the wild side. Now the Vapormax 2 is continuing its expedition, receiving a brand-new take on one of Nike Sportswear’s most legendary color palettes: “Safari.” A combination of black and white Flyknit arrive on the upper, while iconic safari printed detailing is sprinkled on the midfoot swoosh, laces, medial midfoot, and plastic heel cage — which also boasts reflective hits. A bold orange Vapormax cushioning unit then arrives to provide a bright punch of color and complete the look.
