Nike “City Pride” Pack Celebrates Miami With The Air Max Plus 97

To pay homage to a number of the nation’s cities fundamentally rooted with today’s sneaker culture, Nike and Foot Locker are set to release the “City Pride” pack beginning with Miami and the Air Max Plus 97. Calling upon white as its base, this hybridized NSW favorite mixes in a number of eye-catching motifs meant to represent the cultural melting pot that is the city of Miami. An array of vibrant hues are mixed into the racing stripes of this model’s Air Max 97 upper portraying the tropical nature of one of the United State’s southern most metropolises. Other intriguing embellishments include a number of “305” hits – the city’s iconic area code – and an embroidered palm tree sitting right atop a mini Nike check on its tongue. According to the Foot Locker release calendar, several other styles and cities will be included in this collection, but the silhouettes and cities represented are currently unknown. Enjoy an official look at the Air Max Plus 97 for Miami below and expect its arrival at footlocker.com and at Miami-area Foot Locker locations.
