Ross Dwyer With the Air Max 720 looking to follow up the resounding success enjoyed by the Air Max 270 in the lifestyle market during 2018, Nike has begun to unveil a plethora of colors, the latest of which to appear is this regal gold makeup. The synthetic upper — somewhat reminiscent of the Vapormax Plus — features an interesting gradient design, fading from a rich gold by the heel to a pale gold around the toe. Meanwhile, the gigantic Air Max unit keeps things consistent on the bottom half with a full gold design for a striking tonal contrast. Black plastic accents arrive on the upper in place of a standard midfoot Swoosh for an interesting and futuristic design tweak, and Air Max branding on the tongue rounds the look off.
