New Balance Debuts Four New Colorways Of The Tokyo Design Studio RC 2

New Balance Debuts Four New Colorways Of The Tokyo Design Studio RC 2

Recruiting the creative talents of Japan once again and the latent modeling prowess of multi-hyphenate David Marx, New Balance is geared for an expansive launch of the Tokyo Design Studio’s newest entry into the Reveal series: the RC_2. While the first iteration had nanamica’s backing, this newest foray has been spearheaded by minimal garment atelier AURALEE whose overarching design and earth tones bleed deep into these forthcoming four. Arriving in pairs of twos to the same stylizations, one set opts for more solid hits of black and grey with red lining while the other prefers brown-hued overlays next to the same neutral tones. Translucent cages mask the profiles of the upper while a over-branded GORE-TEX lining fills the voids of the underlays. Mixtures of suede, leather, and much more complete this pair in a colliding effort that blends American and Japanese sensibilities.

If you’re interested in grabbing any of the pairs seen in detail below, expect their release to be scattered throughout this month. First, they will debut at $200 USD in their hometown of Japan on March 9th and then exclusively at Notre on March 16th. A wider, global release will then be slated for March 23rd.
