Icy Soles Appear On The Nike Air Max 95 Essential

Nike’s Air Max 95 Essential is a shoe that truly lives up to its name. Since the Sergio Lozano-designed masterpiece first hit the market in 1995, it’s been an quintessential silhouette for casual sneakerheads and die-hard Air Max fans the world over. It’s still an important part of the Swoosh Brand’s lifestyle slate each and every season — almost 25 years after it first released — and now it’s surfaced in a new-yet-familiar combo of black and grey. The paneled upper alternates between breathable mesh and stately leather to fully accent its unique anatomy-inspired stylings, while small pops of silver branding and a tongue overlay constructed of high-vis reflective material add an extra touch of style. The lower half of the shoe offers a compelling mix of light grey tones, and the look is then rounded off by an icy translucent outsole. Check out a full gallery of official images below, and expect these Maxes to hit Nike.com and select Swoosh Brand stockists for $160 later this spring.
