Eric Emanuel continues to bear the Three Stripes flags into SS19, bringing back the Rivalry Hi OG as his second collaboration’s main focal point as well as including the Resto Mod. While surely quite a departure from the tonal creams of last season, the newest motif captures a fond childhood memory of the designer traveling from hotel room to hotel room during his Springtime basketball trips as the many uppers and apparel make-ups don a likeness to the floral wallpaper etched into his subconscious. With it bearing that motif entirely unfiltered, the returning model constructs its various overlays and unders in the maximalist print while white accents loosely tether the scheme to a realm of balance. The newer entry, in large contrast, is much more contemporary as it forgoes the previous design for one of neutrals next to saturated green detailing.
