UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak In Citron Yellow Releases August 1st

UNDERCOVER‘s reimagining of the heritage Nike Daybreak silhouette first released to a receptive audience in early June after being premiered at Paris Fashion Week in 2018, and now it’s set to hit the market in a new “Bright Citron” makeup. Erring towards the colorful side of the spectrum in regards to previous releases, this new Daybreak offers a compelling juxtaposition of a retro yellow nylon upper and a futuristic toothed plastic heel cage that’s dressed in a speckled grey. Grey suede overlays and a black midfoot Swoosh/heel offer further contrast, while the heel’s grey pull tab is stamped with a black UNDERCOVER “U” logo. Down below, the midsole is covered fully in speckle print and features text branding on its rear half. The look is then finalized by a classic waffle outsole, a staple of ’70s-early ’80s Nike shoes. The sun will rise on these new Daybreaks August 1st, so check out a store list below to see what retailers will have stock.
