Official Images Of The Comme des Garcons HOMME Plus x Air Jordan 1

First premiered as part of their F/W ’19 lineup during Paris Fashion Week, official images of the Comme des Garcons HOMME Plus x Air Jordan 1 have now surfaced. With a plethora of motorcycle boot-inspired details and an intentionally androgynous look, these altered AJ1s are quite unlike anything else on the market, and present an undeniably striking style. Dressed in an ultra-crisp white leather, the design’s main details arrive via a healthy dose of silver studs, rings, straps, and buckles. The bottom and top eyelets are overlaid with studs, while a tongue that reaches sky-high crescendoes several inches above the collar with a tonal co-branded badge. Although both of these details are undeniably arresting in their own regard, the signature embellishment is provided by the collar’s bold hook-and-loop strap, which features both a large buckle and a quartet of hanging silver rings, all of which are secured in place by a heel tab. These collaborative Air Jordans are certainly not for the faint of heart, but those who have the panache to pull ’em off will be able to do so when they arrive later this year. Enjoy a first batch of official images directly above and below, and keep it locked here for further details on this ultra-bold release as they’re available.

Update 9/9/19: After being made available in London last month, the CDG HOMME PLUS x Air Jordan 1 will release exclusively at Dover Street Market NY/the DSM webstore on September 14th.
