Billy’s Presents An Exclusive Vans “BESS NI” Collection

Billy’s Presents An Exclusive Vans “BESS NI” Collection

Tapping the deep archives of Anaheim’s very own Vans, Billy’s Tokyo presents the colorful BESS NI silhouette: a reinterpretation rooted in 90s heritage though doused in a styling that could easily be mistaken for Frankenstein’s monster. A sort of mix between vintage legends and the still iconic Old Skool, the pairs — which are set to arrive in a pack of blues, deep reds, black, and a color blocking of yellow and pink — are grounded in a likeness familiar. Waffles soles are still present as ever with uppers pushing textural dichotomy in its half-half mixture of canvas and suede. Outward facing laterals are largely contemporary with overlaid leather Jazz Stripes and a small diagonal checkerboard print block while the medials — which also wrap over to the toe box — push the velvet finish in a fashion much more minimal, preferring outlined hits in contrast stitching. Classic “V” logos are then stamped atop the tongue, signing off on a new school meets old school package. Grab a look at the full set right below and find it arriving exclusively at Billy’s in Japan come August 10th.
