The Air Jordan 1 Mid FEARLESS ONES Series Continues With Maison Château Rouge

The Air Jordan 1 Mid FEARLESS ONES Series Continues With Maison Château Rouge

The penultimate conclusion to the FEARLESS ONES — set to be joined by Edison Chen’s iteration in just a few weeks — Maison Château Rouge and their Air Jordan 1 Mid encapsulate the African district of Paris with their color and pattern rich tooling. What ensues is essentially a broad display of the culture through the eyes of their founder Youssouf Fofana as he brushes across every accent a texture almost dessert-like in its appearance. The dark brown components exhibit this the most heavily, as their almost chocolate tonality etches with repeating triangles and zig-zagging line work. Bright blues only adjacent, in direct distinction, feature a rock candy texture through the brightest of the palette while sparing hits of pastel yellows arrive in seldom across the tread and barely exposed eye stay. Elsewhere, a subtle smooth leather in off-white helps transition from bold hue to the next while helping frame the branded tab at the heel that shows off the boutique’s namesake.
