Monocle Concludes the adidas City Run Pack with Two Pulseboost HD Colorways

Monocle Concludes the adidas City Run Pack with Two Pulseboost HD Colorways

Following the collaborative releases with global partners of Wood Wood, Universal Works, and Neighborhood, adidas’ “City Run Pack” is finishing off its releases of 2019 by partnering with cultural media company, Monocle. Given that the nature of the collection centers its focus around themes of exploration and running, the Three Stripes thought it’d be best to bring in a partner whose understanding of how to best navigate through urban cities across the globe would align perfectly with its ethos. Similar to the previous capsules, both take takes of themes of utilitarianism, offering neutralistic shades applied towards each of their tonal uppers. The first colorway douses its base layers in full navy hues, allowing the only hits of contrast to be found via tiny hits of yellow present near the forefoot panels. The second makeover opts for a more militant aesthetic, adhering to drab olive tones – drawing close connections to one of the Ultra Boost styles released in the aforementioned Wood Wood collection – and accents its forefoot in identical yellow fashion to its sibling. Check out a detailed look at each pair here below, and find these likely rolling out to adidas.com and select retailers on December 14th.
