The Entire Dior x Jordan Brand Capsule Is Releasing In April

The Entire Dior x Jordan Brand Capsule Is Releasing In April

High fashion and sneakers were originally presumed to never have common ground, but with the help of Kim Jones, the cracks in the wall started becoming more and more prominent. Louis Vuitton x Supreme did big things for the culture, setting the curve and effectively making luxury and streetwear near synonymous. And though the aforementioned designer has since left the atelier, his momentum has not faltered even at the famed Dior imprint he currently helms. Kaws, Yoon of AMBUSH, and many others have since joined the cause, but the one that caught everyone’s attention is most certainly Jordan Brand, revealing a collaborative Air Jordan 1 High to roaring applause and now parading its low-top counterpart.

The unveiling, however, did not end there just yet, as the two prepare a full capsule for release in only month’s time. This collection, at its core, effectively pays homage to Dior proper, retaining the subtle penchant for the house’s gray in nod to the founding couturier’s favorite color. Neutrals by way of navy and white then round off the palette, transitioning from bomber jackets and strong tailoring to the two footwear choices that somewhat mirror these very same designs. Swooshes embellish with their classic all-over print, overlays and smooth leather bases construct with high-end quality, and further branding arrives within the icy blue tread at its bottom. Modified Wings insignia then make their way over to graphic sweatshirts loomed to lofty standard, sitting adjacent to a full tracksuit set with silk shorts all included; smart garments take the shape of suit jackets with structured cut — La Flame here pairs it with a clean white top and a pair of pressed shorts to boyish complement. Elsewhere, hoodies sport the overarching logo with bucket hats and socks doing the same though in subtlety, while the yet seen hide in their assortment of cashmere sweaters, polo shirts, and accompanying slacks — a breadth that nods to the modern NBA star and his style — with leather goods, necklaces, jacquard ties, and silk scarves there to accessorize.

Grab a detailed look at some of what will be available right here and expect the release for both the AJ1 Low and High as well as the ready-to-wear pieces to take place throughout the month of April 2020. Only select Dior stores and a few pop-ups will be receiving stock.
