Nike’s Reworked Air Rift Gets A “What The” Style Treatment

Nike’s Reworked Air Rift Gets A “What The” Style Treatment

Though not the most universally loved, Nike’s Aqua Rift — the follow-up to the cult classic Air Rift — has been receiving more than a handful of energetic colorways, most ripe with vibrant, pastel tones and an obvious penchant for retro color blocking. As the silhouette enters Spring/Summer ’20, it looks like it’s indulging itself even further as it utilizes an assortment of patterns in a style not too dissimilar to the brand’s oft-used “What The” scheme. Each panel its own fabric, the upper mirrors that of a patchwork quilt as denims outfit the split toe, black and red paisley the heel, tiger graphics above the latter, and striking tie dye the core construction. Accents elsewhere finish with both white and black shade while the subtle insole branding stand out via a volt smiley. Grab an official look at these here and expect to find them at select retailers and hopefully Nike.com soon.
