Michael Le Though much of the attention has been directed to the AM90, the Air Max 95 has operated its own quiet anniversary, delivering both noteworthy general releases and collaborations alike. After a walk down the runway with CDG as well as an eclectic partnership with size?, the silhouette is set to further expand its wardrobe with the addition of some gold jewelry.
Finished with the Swoosh emblem, the adornment sits center stage atop the left foot’s lace unit, its construction made of bold and luxurious Cuban links as a possible nod to Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon’s debut studio album. Made removable, the metallic gold chain locks in along the topmost eye stay, one whose backdrop bears a neutral cream to complement. Elsewhere, the palette takes a much more colorful approach as pink is interwoven throughout not only the profile’s leather panels but also the textile that outfits the base, lining, and branding. Black toe caps add perforation to elevate texture while brown gum bottoms and panels finish in between.
