Montreal Based Skate Label Dime Teases New Balance 860v2 Collaboration

When looking back at the laundry list of 2020 footwear collaborations, some of the most noteworthy have come about from the efforts of the New Balance Lifestyle category. From introducing the popular 327 with Casablanca, to giving Jaden Smith his own silhouette, to crafting a duo of ultra-clean 992s with JJJJound, they’ve certainly impressed the sneaker enthusiasts across the globe up until this point in the year, and it look as though they’re not slowing down any time soon. Keeping their partnerships within the realm of Montreal-based imprints, New Balance is now tapping skate stalwart Dime for a brand new sneaker collab.

While we’ve yet to see a full 360 vantage point of the project, it appears that it will be heavily reliant on neutral tones involving that of dark tan mesh uppers and silver overlays. Up top, the sock liners complement by way of a creamy hue and are neighbored by co-branded tongues against a beige background. Peep a first look here, and sit tight for further word on its official release date likely to occur in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere in sneakers, the HUMAN MADE adidas Fall collection officially drops on 8/6.
