Michael Le Following their anime-eyed Arc’teryx shells, Toronto’s Better Gift Shop is turning their attention to footwear as they link up with Vault By Vans to create two “never-before-seen” colorways of the Style 36 and Half Cab.
Across both, the imprint has imbued their trademark penchant for light blue, using it atop the suede mid-panel of the Style 36 and the overlays of the complementing Half Cab. Adjacent, a marshmallow white complements in the same robust material, its lighter finishing accented over top with a contrast stitch that matches the aforementioned cool tone. Then, after each silhouette’s typical branded fixtures, Better Gift Shop has included a graphic-dressed sockliner that displays their flagship’s bold signage.
“Blue suede shoes are a classic. Selfishly, we’ve always wanted our own version,” said Co-Founder and Designer, Kevin Li. “Vans gave us that opportunity.”
If you’re looking to get your hands on pair, they’ll be available at Better Gift Shop’s flagship in Toronto as well as bettergiftshop.com on November 28th.
