Reebok And The Kickback Pledge Support To Entrepreneurial Students In Brooklyn

Throughout its decades-spanning history, Reebok has leveraged its influence and resources as a global leader in sportswear to bring awareness and support to various causes and peoples. It’s done so for International Women’s Day, and recently, it’s shifted gears towards assisting students at Mott Hall Bridges Academy in Brooklyn, NY’s Brownsville neighborhood as they aspire to change the world through entrepreneurship.

Alongside The Kickback, a youth-led organization that has been inspiring underserved adolescents through sneakers and more since 2016, the Massachusetts-based brand has gifted pairs of the Classic Leather Legacy to 10 students. Additionally, these students in Mott Hall’s Entrepreneur Program have been gifted a year-long, individualized mentorship program with Toronto’s The Kickback; a brand-new laptop; and a year’s worth of internet access, all resources to help cultivate their success.

“We understand and acknowledge that systemic oppression is a real issue,” said Nicole Adriance, U.S. Marketing Director at Reebok. “Together, we hope this program can shed light on the digital education gap and [help]…children on their journeys to success. Our work has only just begun.”
