Puma Hoops Expands Footwear Offering With The Court Rider

Puma Hoops Expands Footwear Offering With The Court Rider

Before the Puma Suede became a tried-and-true lifestyle classic, its debut in 1968 struck the street style scene as a silhouette that broke away from the leather and canvas constructions sneakers during the time had been limited to. Over fifty years later, Puma continues to introduce fresh takes on footwear as demonstrated by its newest basketball shoe, the Court Rider.

As part of the Puma Hoops line, the performance sneaker is a fusion of style and support. Its plush uppers are primarily in white and grey but are met by multi-colored overlays. These translucent pieces boast bright shades of blue, orange, and green, crisscrossing for a bold, layered look. The white midsole, which is constructed of the brand’s innovative Rider foam, also slips in hints of color by adding blue and green midsole pieces at the heel. A full-coverage, tractioned rubber outsole and a specialized lacing system further deliver comfort and stability to wearers. Aligning with the brand’s ethos of forward-thinking, young athletes of the Puma Hoops family—including LaMelo Ball, RJ Barrett, Deandre Ayton, and Katie Lou Samuelson—will be some of the firsts to sport the Court Rider.

Enjoy official imagery below as you wait to get your hands on a pair when they arrive at Puma‘s web store and select retailers on April 13th for $100.

In other sneakers news, the Puma Clyde All-Pro Kuzma Low is another example of the brand’s ventures in the basketball sphere.
