Nike Continues Its Swoosh Education With This Mismatched Blazer Low ’77

Although the Nike Blazer Low has enjoyed a steady release cycle courtesy of Nike SB, it’s also become a staple within the Swoosh’s lifestyle-oriented options.

As with a previously-seen iteration of the Blazer Mid ’77, the forthcoming low-top option nods to the origins of Carolyn Davidson’s iconic swoosh design. Instead of boasting the inaugural version of the logo on the lateral sidewall, dons schematics on the sock-liner. Furthermore, “nike” branding on the tongue label and upper heel panel turns back the time. The pair’s most notable detail is the mismatched arrangement present throughout the upper, with contrasting red and blue sharing the spotlight.

An official launch date is still unknown, but this Blazer Low is likely to arrive to Nike.com around June 18th, the first date the swoosh logo was used (1971).
