Michael Le Undoubtedly one of the most exciting Retros of 2021, the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” is just weeks away from release. And when it finally does hit the shelves, expect to see adult, GS, PS, and TD pairs.
A rollout similar to its “University Blue” counterpart, the full family size run offers all of the same details in form factors big and small. And while you’d expect certain features to be lost at the latter extreme, most are relatively intact — the Jumpman at the heel, support wings, and netting all easily downsized. The top and bottom eyelets as well as the tongue label, however, are replaced on the Toddler and Pre-School pair out of necessity, swapped out for thin pieces of leather and embroidery. The GS counterpart, on the other hand, is more true-to-form.
